Lawful Recruitment Process for Employees from Third Countries

HireUp fully undertakes all legal and administrative procedures required for the lawful recruitment of personnel from third countries, ensuring compliance with Greek legislation and fast completion of each step.

  1. Agreement with the Employer
    Signing of the cooperation agreement.
  2. Application Submission
    Filing with the Aliens & Migration Department, including job description, supporting documents, and contracts.
  3. Approval and Notifications
    The decision is sent to the employer, the local authority, and the Greek Consulate.
  4. Issuance of Work Visa
    The employee submits the required documents (passport, contract, certificates, criminal record, translated birth certificate).
  5. Arrival in Greece
    Completion of procedures: residence permit, EFKA registration, issuance of tax number (AFM), and lawful commencement of employment.
